Secrets To Read Anyone Instantly - 14 Psychological Tips


Eye Contact

Look at person's eyes.

Dilated pupils = Interest in your communication.

If person can't take eyes off - Romantic Interest

If person can't keep eye contact - Nervous or has something to hide.


Eyebrows

We raise our eyebrows when surprise, worried or fearful.

It is hard to have casual conversation normal eyebrows.

Look if eyebrows are normal or raised.


Smile

When smiling, mouth can lie, but eyes can't.

Genuine smile reach eyes, crinkling the skin to create crow's feet around them.

If there aren't crinkles, that smile is hiding something.


Notice What They Say

We see the world through our eyes.

We like to feel that everyone is like us.

The more they rate other people kind and loving - the more they themselves possess these traits.

Reverse also true.


Paralanguage - Tone, Pitch, Way of Speech

If they answer in monotone - uninterested (true for texting too)

Pay attention to what words they emphasize.

Nodding

Chin and Jaw

Posture

How someone carries self = Shows how confident of themselves they are.

Slouchy and looking at ground while walking - Shows lack of confidence.

Shoulders up and looking forward indicate confidence.


Rubbing Hands

Soft and flabby handshake - Submissive

Too hard handshake - dominating 

Too short handshake - Some form of conflict or they are in some hurry.


Leaning in / Away

Leaning in shows their interest in what you have to say.

It also signals respect for you.

Leaning away - They are tired or uncomfortable.


Crossed Arms and Legs

Physical barriers between bodies (even purse or briefcase between) suggest they are not open to what you have to say.

If someone likes you - Both of their feet will face you.

If their feet point towards door - They want to leave.


Copying Body Language

Signals they feel good about you and receptive to your message.

It is done un intentially and a signal of interest.

So to communicate effectively, you need to have control over your emotions and actions i.e. be Self Sufficient.
